  • Sandwiches are so much more exciting on homemade bread.
This is my very own sweet bread recipe.
It's soooo good and it makes the whole house smell amazing.

@To_be_fearless - @CrymsonHope - Sorry it took me so long. It's really good! It is a bit weird though because I have been trying to incorporate healthy things into our food. I'm replacing sugar with honey wherever I can and oil with coconut oil, etc. You have to play around with the flour and liquids to get it to be the right consistency. Here it is...

    1tbsp yeast
    4 or so cups flour
1/3 cup of ground flax seed and steel cut oats mixture (I just ground even amounts of these in Kevin and Jills blender.)
    1tsp salt
    1/4 cup honey
    2 eggs room temp
1/4 cup oil ( I use coconut oil)
1 & 1/2 ish cups warm citrus juice. I like the 100% frozen mixed pineapple and orange juice.

I put all the ingredients in my bread machine in that order and put it on the dough setting. Then I watch it to make sure it is neither too sticky or too dry. When it is done I knead it again divide it in half and it makes two loaves. Let it rise, put a slice across the top & I put in in the oven at 325 for 30 minutes. (My oven is a bit hot I think so it might be more like 340 or 350 ish)
    Happy Baking!
